day three at john rocha

getting the tube to oxford circus, and walking up to wigmore street to head to the debenhams head office and dover street market, i picked up a medium hazelnut hot chocolate from starbucks, which was, bloody delicious first thing in the morning.  i dropped off what i needed to and headed to the john rocha store in mayfair. it boasted minimalist interior with 2 garments draped over mannequins at the entrance.

this afternoon i helped aileen with the seating plan- matching up the names on the plan to the long list on the computer. as well as doing that, i was watching the fittings with the models, seeing how the stylist works with john and the team. garments were still being altered; it was really interesting to listen to the conversations about an edging, or the way the waistline sits, or the fullness of a dress. having an a-level in textiles, i knew a bit about garment construction and fabrics.

7pm and dinner was served- salmon, vegetable bake, vegetables and rhubard crumble and a little glass of white wine. considering the show was in less than 24 hours, the atmosphere at dinner was relaxing and chilled. i finished at 10pm by making sure the finished seating plans were neat, tidy and clean- ready for me to photocopy in the morning before the show. i arrived home at half 11, exhausted after another amazing day at john rocha.
